  24.     Well, I'm glad you asked! Just invent your own subdomain at
  25.     whatever.tempcode.com and it will only show code that was created
  26.     at that location. For Example:
  28.         1) http://java.tempcode.com
  29.         2) http://my-company.tempcode.com
  30.         3) http://my-full-name.tempcode.com
  31.         4) http://i.love.to.eat.cake.tempcode.com
  33.     The more unique you make your name, the less likely it is that
  34.     someone else will choose it as well. This is by no means security,
  35.     however it does make it harder for someone to find your goodies.

  40.     It's easy! Follow these steps:

  42.         1. Go to http://tempcode.com
  43.         2. Paste or type some code in the giant text box
  44.         3. Name your code (optional)
  45.         4. Select which language your code is written in (optional)
  46.         5. Choose the lifetime of your code
  47.         6. Click the Save New Code button
  48.         7. You will be redirected to your code page. Save that URL!

  51.     What does Lifetime mean?

  53.     Lifetime indicates how long you want a particular bit of code to
  54.     live. If you just need to IM or email someone some code one time
  55.     then you might choose One Day as the lifetime. After one day,
  56.     your code will be deleted.

  58.     Perhaps you want to send a piece of code back and forth between
  59.     a buddy or two for a few days or weeks? If that's the case then
  60.     choose One Month as the lifetime.
